Katie named one of 2024’s top business founders

Small Business Britain’s f:Entrepreneur #IAlso100 list recognises the UK’s most impressive female entrepreneurs.

1/22/2024

Our very own Katie Killip has been named one of the UK’s most impressive entrepreneurs by Small Business Britain.

Every year the organisation recognises the top 100 female business founders from around the country, who’ve blazed a trail in their industry and had a positive impact on the world around them. So it’s no wonder Katie made the list.

Beyond entrepreneurship, the f:100 list focuses on women who inspire others, promote inclusivity and diversity, or support local communities and social issues. All while running kick-ass, purpose-driven businesses.

“It’s such an honour to have been selected to feature in the f:100 list this year,” Katie said.

“I hope this will inspire more women and young girls, who are often dissuaded from thinking big, to get out there and build a business based on their passions for themselves.”

MAKING AN IMPACT

The recognition is the latest in a string of accolades for Katie, who set up her first business in 2008 – launching the first ever female-founded design agency in Jersey.

Mantra’s branding work for Jersey-based health club Healthhaus earned her three prestigious CIM awards in 2015. And just last year she scooped a national award for Diversity & Inclusion at the 2023 PRCADare Awards, for Mantra’s ‘ground-breaking’ campaign for Channel Islands Pride.

Katie was also called out for her contribution to social impact causes, including her work for the Choose Love / Help Refugees collaboration. Featuring across two exhibitions, her work helped to raise money for refugees and displaced people in the UK.
